Botallack Scarf
This pattern and colourway was one from the first set of scarves woven on our new in-house designed and built eight-shaft floor loom in a two-block twill pattern reminiscent of scalloped waves, seashells and feathers
Handwoven of British breeds Suffolk and Jacob in a deep turquoise blue. The detail in the trim of rare breeds Ryeland charcoal-brown, with a mossy-lichen green Shetland and a taupe brown Blue-faced Leicester
The colours and textures of this scarf remind us of the rugged beauty found along the granite cliffs and mine workings around the coasts of West Cornwall, particularly that of the Tin Coasts mossy knolls, rocky crags and tropical turquoise waters
A scarf that is supple in medium softness, woven with a lighter DK-weight yarn. (This particular scarf sold before we could capture any good photographs of it, but we managed to get a precious few!)
