Chûn Quiot Scarf

Houndstooth/ Dogtooth Twill

Heralding the integrity and resilience of granite upon the wild Penwith moors and the ancient sites that weave their way through the rich tapestry of the far west countryside that surrounds us in our wee secluded garden loom room

Inspiration gathered from the preserved hilltop Neolithic dolmen of Chûn Quoit; coarse-grained, free-standing, commanding views northward to the Celtic Sea where from veins of Cornish hedges run like lifeblood downhill to the craggy cliffs that hug the sea

This is a marriage of stone and earth

A fine, supple and soft British Aran Blue-faced Leicester wool in heathland brown and a subtly speckled sea-foam cream Aran wool, woven by hand on a wooden loom, made also by hand
